Areas We Serve

Katy sits across three counties (Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller), and most of the newer construction, Cinco Ranch chief among it, sits inside a master-planned community with its own architectural review process for backyard additions.

Counties: Harris, Fort Bend & Waller counties

Local Notes

Cinco Ranch and the surrounding Katy-area MUD communities require HOA or architectural-committee approval before pool construction starts; that approval step is handled during design, not after excavation begins. Katy prairie soil is a dense clay that holds water and expands and contracts with the seasons, which is exactly the soil movement a properly engineered gunite shell is built to handle.

Heavy spring and fall rain events are normal here, so deck grading and drainage around the pool are built to move stormwater away from both the pool structure and the house foundation, not just off the coping.

How This Works as a Service-Area Business

Katy Area Pool Builders doesn't operate a storefront in each neighborhood listed above, pool builders work on-site at your property, not out of a retail location. We travel to every area listed here for site evaluations, construction, and service calls, with the same single-builder team handling the project start to finish regardless of which neighborhood it's in.

What a Site Evaluation Covers

Wherever your property falls within this area, the first visit covers the same ground: soil and drainage, existing structures or trees near the proposed footprint, utility and equipment access, and any HOA or permitting path specific to that neighborhood. That evaluation is what the Design & Planning step is built on, see Our Process.
